Loreto is the most extensive region of Peru (almost fourth part of the Peruvian territory) and its immense land is cover by rough vegetation. It is the department that has more international limits (Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador). It is mainly composed by primary and secondary forest with hills of little elevation and slightly waved plateaus. In the tourist area the department offers the amazonian landscape with all the rich flora and fauna that lives by the Amazon river, this variety is a sample of an extraordinary bio-diversity.
