Lima - Huaraz - Trujillo - Chiclayo - Lima
Day 01.- Lima Out - Huaraz in
Reception in the Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free day at leisure. At 9:00pm pick up from airport to board the bus to Huaraz. (Bus departs at 10:00pm). Overnight on Board.
Day 02.- Huaraz in – City Tour
Huaylas AlleyReception in the station and transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest, we will start our City Tour. We will visit the archaeological remains of Willcahuain and Antaoco; both from the Wari – Tiwanacu period. Once here, we will be able to appreciate the funeral mausoleums that were built in different levels, as well as the magnificent scenery that encircles it. Then we will make a visit to the Regional Museum of Ancash, where we will be able to appreciate the collection of sculptures and ceramics of one of the ancient civilizations of Peru. We will have the afternoon for free activities. Overnight in Huaraz.
Day 03.- Alley of Huaylas – Llanganuco Lake
LlanganucoBreakfast. We will begin our tour through by the Santa River Valley, between the Black and White mountain range, where picturesque towns and beautiful cities as Carhuaz are settled; also we will visit Yungay that is located at 22 Kilometers from Carhuaz. Later, the town of the Invalids and Caraz and the most important snow-covered of the White Mountain Range. Finally we will ascent to the Llanganuco Lake, which is located in a narrow glacial valley and is flanked by the snow-covered Huascarán and Huandoy, and it shows a spectacular panorama with its water blue turquoise with various fauna and flora that surrounds it. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 04.- Chavín de Huántar
Chavín de HuántarBreakfast. This day we will visit the one of the ceremonials and representative center of the High Peruvian culture, with more than 3,000 years of antiquity, considered one of the first high Peruvian civilizations, Chavín de Huántar. Here we will appreciate its monumental architecture, with sunken plazas and subterranean galleries, the fine art emphasizing the Lanzon of Chavín, an impressive stone knife-like sculpture, the Estelas, with anthrop zoomorphic representations. Also the Portal of the Falcónidas with their columns and cornices and the Cabezas Clavas that surround the Great Temple. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 05.- Huaraz Out
Breakfast. Free day at leisure and for shopping. At an appropriate time we will go to the bus terminal to take the bus to Trujillo. (Bus departs at 21:30pm). Overnight on Board.
Day 06.- Trujillo in – City Tour
Trujillo Main SquareTrujillo is a very welcoming city, one of the economic and cultural centers of the north area of Perú. This land is called, The Land of The Eternal Spring and it is where the Marinera was born. It is the land of the Peruvian Paso Horse. After Breakfast, we will begin the city tour in the Main Square, then we will visit the Casa Colange, Casa Orbegozo, Casa of the Emancipation, the Iturregui Palace and then we will proceed to visit the archeology museum. Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 07.- Sun and the Moon Temple – Chan Chan – Huanchaco
Breakfast. In the morning we will carry out a guided visit to the temples of the sun and the moon that belongs to the Mochica Civilization. We will appreciate a
Moon Templesample of the mural image paintings in high relief, ceremonial squares elegantly decorated. We will visit Chan chan until 14:00hrs, the pre-Colombian tomb Arco Iris or Dragon, the Museum of Chan Chan and the Palace Tshudi, then we will visit Huanchaco beach where we will be able to appreciate the famous Caballitos de totora (Boats of Totora). Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 08.- Trujillo Out / Chiclayo In
Early in the morning we will have breakfast and then we will take the bus to go to Chiclayo. Upon arrival in Chiclayo, welcome and reception. Transfer to the chosen hotel. We will begin our tour in the main streets of the city and we
Royal Tombs Museumwill see the main square, The Cathedral, The small square Elías Aguirre, The Walk of the Muses, and finally we will visit the Herbalist market. Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 09.- Túcume and Museum / Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum
Breakfast. Then we will visit the archaeological area of Túcume, zone where important discoveries have been carried out. And we will visit its museum in place, which architecture was inspired by the traditional Lambayeque chapels. Then we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where we will be able to appreciate all the funeral trousseau of the Mister of Sipán, its scepter of
Tucumecommand, earflaps, necklaces, pectoral, protective coxals, its semi-circulate crown and we will be able to know a little more of the Mochica Civilization. Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 10.- Chiclayo Out - Lima In
Breakfast. At an appropriate time transfer to the Airport to fly to Lima. In Lima reception, we will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and
Lima's Cathedralcolonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. Lunch and Overnight in Lima.
Day 11.- Lima Out
Breakfast. At an appropriate time transfer to the Airport to return to origin country.

Provided with this information SUMAQ PERU TRAVEL S.A.C. will proceed to give The Client all the indications for making the Payment.
PAYMENT
When the Tour Package is confirmed, you will be requested to Pay the 50% of the total amount. This amount must be paid through our Online Payment Gateway where we accept Visa and Master Card (It does NOT include the 6% charge for Credit Card payment). Once the payment is approved SUMAQ PERU TRAVEL S.A.C. will proceed to block the spaces for you and in this way the Tour Package will be confirmed.
The payment instructions will be given by SUMAQ PERU TRAVEL S.A.C. to each client separately for security reasons.
After the payment is done, The Client will received an Invoice for the Tour Package.
The rest 50% must be paid after the arrival of the client.

The Peruvian Weather is dramatically defined by the Andean chain, the marine currents and its location on the globe, all of which makes the summer and winter seasons not so strong.

Time
The official time in Peru is located five hourse after the GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and it is similar to the EST (Eastern Standard Time) from the United States. Peru does not change the official time during the year, thus there is not summer or winter time, instead the time is maintain equal during all the year. Also it does not vary inside of the country.

Working Hours
The banks and stores attention is from 09:00am to 5:00 or 6:00pm during weekdays. And from 9:00am till midday on Saturdays.
Currency
The official currency of Peru is the Nuevo Sol (S/.) and each Sol is divided in 100 cents, it circulates in currencies of 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, 1, 2 and 5 Nuevos Soles and in bills of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Nuevos soles.
In relation to a foreign currency, the most accepted currency is the dollar, also in latest years the Euro can be easily exchange in the majority of exchange bureau. Another currency will be difficult to change outside Lima.
Credit cards
The accepted credit cards in Peru are Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club and American Express. You can get the cash from Banks or from ATMS. The negative part to use a debit or credit card is that the establishments can load a 8% or a 10% to the final account.
Traveller's Checks
The traveler's checks are possible to be used in Peru but are difficult to change. The change of such can be made in Banks, when making this operation considers a loss from 2% to 5%. It is good taking them because of security reasons but always take cash.
The Water and Beverages
In the case of the Water in Peru it is necessary to have certain considerations, like not drinking water not boiled since many diseases can be transmitted through water specially the diarrhea. keep in mind to drink only mineral water which is easy to obtain at S/.1.00.
Food
In the case of the meals avoid eating on the street vendors. These Street Vendors are called "Ambulantes" and do not consume their products even if you are very hungry.
Peruvian Cuisine
The Peruvian cuisine has many varieties and diverse tastes which varies in the coast, mountain range and forest. The Ceviche is a highly recommended dish. In the case of drinks you should not forget to try our "Pisco Sour" elaborated with the ardent water of Peru "the Pisco", and also the drink of the Incas Chica of jora, chicha Morada, etc.
In Lima and the most important cities there are international food restaurants.
Vaccinations
To travel to Peru the vaccine against the Yellow Fever is obligatory if you are going to travel to the Forest area like Iquitos, Manu, Tambopata, etc.
Height
The altitude sickness is very common when you travel to very high zones in the mountain range of Peru like Cusco and Puno, and the symptoms are headache, vertigo, lethargy, loss of appetite, difficulty to sleep and it can get to be more severe. It is also called "Soroche". It is advisable to drink Mate de Coca.
Security
Nowadays the terrorism is considered a 90% solved problem and the counrty is living a time of peace and economical prosperity.
This situation of Economical Growth permits the development of Tourism in the country.
The Crime Rate in Peru is still a big issue, especially in central areas like Lima downtown or crowded places. In general terms Peru is a safe country, and like any other country in the world it is important to have some precautionary measures.
Language
In Peru the official language is the Spanish, but Quechua is the greater legacy of the Inca empire and is spoken in many regions of Peru with diverse dialects in each zone.
Shopping
In general, the commercial stores, malls and artisan markets are open between 09:00 until 20:00 hrs. every day (even holidays)

National and international calls can be made from public telephones with coins or cards that are sold in many establishments and in kioscos.

In the main cities you can find Internet public cabins that for S/.1.50 or S/.2.00 give you access to Internet for 1 hour.

In Peru the electrical energy is of 220 volts and The power plugs used are type A, B and C.
