Day 01.- Lima in
Reception in the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Day 02.- Lima out – Arequipa in – City Tour
Monasterio de Santa CatalinaBreakfast. Transfer to the Airport to fly to Arequipa. In Arequipa reception start visiting the White city of Arequipa. We will visit the Main Square, which presents a beautiful bronze fountain of three plates crowned with the figure of a soldier of XVI century. Here we will be able to appreciate The Church of the Company of Jesus Christ. Next we will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina who was a center of absolute retreat, which stayed closed to the public by centuries, today is harmoniously recovered and opened. It allows us to appreciate how the city of Arequipa was in the XVII century. We will see its streets, gardens, walls of sillar, etc. Immediately we will be transferred to the beautiful and green countryside of the Yanahuara Viewpoint, where we will have a privileged view of the city and Volcanoes like the Misti, Pichupichu and Chachani. Return to the Hotel. Overnight.
Day 03.- Arequipa – Chivay
Chivay ChurchBreakfast. Early in the morning we will start our trip to the Colca Valley located in the Province of Caylloma at 3 600masl. In our way we will pass by the district of Yura, Pampa Cañahua, where the vicunas can be appreciated. We will pass through the old crater of Chucure volcano. Later, we will arrive at Patapampa, the highest point pf the tour (4 800masl). From this point, the maximum number of volcanoes that exist together in the department of Arequipa can be appreciated. We will arrive at the town of Chivay and we will settle ourselves in the hotel. Soon we will have a time to have lunch. Also we will have the chance to visit the thermal baths of La Calera (optional). Overnight.
Day 04.- Chivay – Cross of the Condor - Arequipa
The Condor FlightBreakfast. This day we will visit the Cross of the Condor, a place that has an impressive View of the valley and from there we will be able to appreciate the flight of the condor and the depth of the canyon (3 400meters of depth). At Return, we will be able to visit the town of Pinchillo, the Hanging PRE-Inca tombs, Litomoquetas, the town of Maca, Achola, the town of Yanque and Chivay. Lunch in restaurant of Chivay (lunch on behalf of passenger). Return to the city of Arequipa. Overnight.
Day 05- Arequipa Out – Cusco in – City Tour
Breakfast. Early in the morning transfer to the Airport to fly to Cusco. Upon Cusco Main Squarearrival, reception, welcome and transfer to the chosen hotel. Rest in the morning to acclimatize to the high altitude. At 13:30 we will start the City Tour visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue with a visit to the museum of the Cathedral, where we will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks. Later we will visit the archaeological sites bordering the city of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 06.- Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to the town of Pisaq (located at 50 Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complexminutes from Cusco), where we will appreciate the archaeological complex (20 minutes from town). Also, we will have the chance to visit the Typical Artisan Market and the Main Square. We continue by one side of the Vilcanota river, until arriving to Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite lunch buffet. After that, we will discover Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. This is so because their streets maintain the same outline to the one of the time of the Incas. We will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there. In our way back to Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero, a small colonial Inca town, where we will appreciate its main square and church. We will return back to Cusco. Overnight.
Day 07.- Machu Picchu – Cusco
Machu Picchu: Side ViewBreakfast. Very early in the morning (05: 30 hrs.) a car will pick us up from the chosen hotel and transfer us to the train station. The train leaves at 6am and arrives to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) station at 10:00am. Immediately we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu. We will continue with a guided visit in this magical place for about 2 hours, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, among others. At the end, we will have a free time until 12:00 hrs, where the bus will pick us up and take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train to return back to Cusco leaves at 4pm arriving to its destination at 8pm approximately. Overnight.
Day 08.- City Tour Colonial Lima – Lima out
Lima's CathedralBreakfast, Early in the morning transfer to the airport to fly to Lima. We will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and colonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. Lunch and Overnight in Lima.
Day 09.- Lima - Trujillo
Trujillo Main SquareBreakfast, At 10:30pm you will be picked up transferred to the Bus Station to take the bus to Trujillo. Bus departs at 11:30pm. Overnight on Bus.
Day 10.- Trujillo in – City Tour
Reception and transfer to your hotel. At appropriate time we will begin the city tour in the Main Square, then we will visit the Casa Colange, Casa Orbegozo, Casa of the Emancipation, the Iturregui Palace and then we will proceed to visit the archeology museum. Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 11.- Sun and the Moon Temple – Chan Chan – Huanchaco
Breakfast. In the morning we will carry out a guided visit to the temples of the Moon Templesun and the moon that belongs to the Mochica Civilization. We will appreciate a sample of the mural image paintings in high relief, ceremonial squares elegantly decorated. We will visit Chan chan until 14:00hrs, the pre-Colombian tomb Arco Iris or Dragon, the Museum of Chan Chan and the Palace Tshudi, then we will visit Huanchaco beach where we will be able to appreciate the famous Caballitos de totora (Boats of Totora). Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 12.- Trujillo Out / Chiclayo In
Early in the morning we will have breakfast and then we will take the bus to go to Chiclayo. Upon arrival in Chiclayo, welcome and reception. Transfer to the Royal Tombs Museumchosen hotel. We will begin our tour in the main streets of the city and we will see the main square, The Cathedral, The small square Elías Aguirre, The Walk of the Muses, and finally we will visit the Herbalist market. Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 13.- Túcume and Museum / Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum
Breakfast. Then we will visit the archaeological area of Túcume, zone where important discoveries have been carried out. And we will visit its museum in place, which architecture was inspired by the traditional Lambayeque chapels. Then we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where we will be able to Tucume Archaeological Complexappreciate all the funeral trousseau of the Mister of Sipán, its scepter of command, earflaps, necklaces, pectoral, protective coxals, its semi-circulate crown and we will be able to know a little more of the Mochica Civilization. Transfer to the airport to fly to Lima, in Lima reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 05.- Túcume and Museum / Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum
Breakfast. Then we will visit the archaeological area of Túcume, zone where important discoveries have been carried out. And we will visit its museum in place, which architecture was inspired by the traditional Lambayeque chapels. Then we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where we will be able to appreciate all the funeral trousseau of the Mister of Sipán, its scepter of Tucume Archaeological Complexcommand, earflaps, necklaces, pectoral, protective coxals, its semi-circulate crown and we will be able to know a little more of the Mochica Civilization. At night transfer to the Bus station to take the bus to Cajamarca. Overnight on board.
Day 06.- Cajamarca In/ City Tour / Otuzco Windows
Reception and transfer to the hotel. We have a little time to rest and get ready for the day. Beginning our tour we will visit important places like: The Main Square, The San Francisco Church, The Cathedral that is characterized for its impressive facade carved in volcanic rock, then we will visit Belen, an old hospital from the virreynal times. Later we will go to the Archaeological, ethnographic and religious Museum. We will visit then the Rescue Rooms that were filled two of them with silver and one with gold by the Inca Atahualpa. Santa Apolonia HillFinally, we will go to the hill of Saint Apolonia, splendid natural lookout from where the city and valley can be appreciated. We will see The Chair of the Inca.
Then we will visit the Farm Los Alpes, Three Mills, where we will be able to find the best “Peruvian Paso” horses and the best cattle in production of drinking milk. Also we will visit the Factory of dairy products and the Garden of the Hortensias arriving at the Windows of Otuzco; that is a great necropolis of Pre-Inca origin characterized for its crypts dug in volcanic rocks and a drawbridge. Overnight.
Day 07.- Colpa Excursion y Cumbemayo
Breakfast. Approximately at 9.00am we will pass by the Forest Park of the National University of Cajamarca, in order to reach the zone of Cumbemayo where Cumbemayowill be able to observe: The forest of stones with capricious and mysterious forms like Fraylones and hundred of geoforms; continuing the visit we will see Petroglyphs, ceremonial altars, The Stone of Sacrifice and the aqueduct of Cumbemayo that has 3.000 years of existence, which is a great hydraulic engineering work, unique in Pre of Columbus America, that consists of a channel with points that derive the water of the slope of the Pacific, toward the Atlantic, It was made in volcanic rock.
Then, we will visit The Colpa Farm, where the call of the cows is carried out by its own name for the milk. Then we will visit the typical small town of Llacanora, next we will have a look to the caves of Callacpoma, where we will appreciate rock art that is dated around 7,000 BC. Likewise, we will visit the Therapeutic Center of the Baths of the Inca, thermal and medicinal baths, where the temperature at the surfaces are up to 82°C, the wells of the Inca, the perolitos, where Atahualpa encounter The Spaniards for the first time. (15th of November 1532). Finally, we will return to Cajamarca. Overnight.
Day 08.- Cajamarca Out – Lima in – Colonial and Modern City Tour
Lima's CathedralBreakfast. At an appropriate time transfer to the Airport to fly to Lima. In Lima reception, we will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and colonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. Overnight in Lima.
Day 09.- Lima Out

Day 02.- Huaraz in – City Tour
Huaylas AlleyReception in the station and transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest, we will start our City Tour. We will visit the archaeological remains of Willcahuain and Antaoco; both from the Wari – Tiwanacu period. Once here, we will be able to appreciate the funeral mausoleums that were built in different levels, as well as the magnificent scenery that encircles it. Then we will make a visit to the Regional Museum of Ancash, where we will be able to appreciate the collection of sculptures and ceramics of one of the ancient civilizations of Peru. We will have the afternoon for free activities. Overnight in Huaraz.
Day 03.- Alley of Huaylas – Llanganuco Lake
LlanganucoBreakfast. We will begin our tour through by the Santa River Valley, between the Black and White mountain range, where picturesque towns and beautiful cities as Carhuaz are settled; also we will visit Yungay that is located at 22 Kilometers from Carhuaz. Later, the town of the Invalids and Caraz and the most important snow-covered of the White Mountain Range. Finally we will ascent to the Llanganuco Lake, which is located in a narrow glacial valley and is flanked by the snow-covered Huascarán and Huandoy, and it shows a spectacular panorama with its water blue turquoise with various fauna and flora that surrounds it. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 04.- Chavín de Huántar
Chavín de HuántarBreakfast. This day we will visit the one of the ceremonials and representative center of the High Peruvian culture, with more than 3,000 years of antiquity, considered one of the first high Peruvian civilizations, Chavín de Huántar. Here we will appreciate its monumental architecture, with sunken plazas and subterranean galleries, the fine art emphasizing the Lanzon of Chavín, an impressive stone knife-like sculpture, the Estelas, with anthrop zoomorphic representations. Also the Portal of the Falcónidas with their columns and cornices and the Cabezas Clavas that surround the Great Temple. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 05.- Huaraz Out
Breakfast. Free day at leisure and for shopping. At an appropriate time we will go to the bus terminal to take the bus to Trujillo. (Bus departs at 21:30pm). Overnight on Board.
Day 06.- Trujillo in – City Tour
Trujillo Main SquareTrujillo is a very welcoming city, one of the economic and cultural centers of the north area of Perú. This land is called, The Land of The Eternal Spring and it is where the Marinera was born. It is the land of the Peruvian Paso Horse. Approximately at 9.00am we will pass by the Forest Park of the National University of Cajamarca, in order to reach the zone of Cumbemayo where will be able to observe: The forest of stones with capricious and mysterious forms like Fraylones and hundred of geoforms; continuing the visit we will see Petroglyphs, ceremonial altars, The Stone of Sacrifice and the aqueduct of Cumbemayo that has 3.000 years of existence, which is a great hydraulic engineering work, unique in Pre of Columbus America, that consists of a channel with points that derive the water of the slope of the Pacific, toward the Atlantic, It was made in volcanic rock.
Then, we will visit The Colpa Farm, where the call of the cows is carried out by its own name for the milk. Then we will visit the typical small town of Llacanora, next we will have a look to the caves of Callacpoma, where we will appreciate rock art that is dated around 7,000 BC. Likewise, we will visit the Therapeutic Center of the Baths of the Inca, thermal and medicinal baths, where the temperature at the surfaces are up to 82°C, the wells of the Inca, the perolitos, where Atahualpa encounter The Spaniards for the first time. Day 08.- Cajamarca Out – Lima in – Colonial and Modern City Tour

Day 09.- Iquitos in – Belen – Trekking in the Primary forest
Red MacawsAt an appropriate hour transfer to the airport to fly to Iquitos. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the pier to undertake our fast embarkation. Starting with our adventure we will visit the floating neighborhood of Belen. Here we will see the typical houses and the way people of the forest live. Right after that, we will continue our navigation in the Amazon, observing its different villages. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a typical beverage and start to allocate ourselves in the private cabins, also we will get familiarized with all the installations and with the environment surrounding the lodge, basically the primary forest with its flora and fauna. Day 10.- Morning Excursion – Village – Iquitos out

Day 01.- Lima Out - Huaraz in
Reception in the Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free day at leisure. At 9:00pm pick up from airport to board the bus to Huaraz. (Bus departs at 10:00pm). Overnight on Board.
Day 02.- Huaraz in – City Tour
Huaylas AlleyReception in the station and transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest, we will start our City Tour. We will visit the archaeological remains of Willcahuain and Antaoco; both from the Wari – Tiwanacu period. Once here, we will be able to appreciate the funeral mausoleums that were built in different levels, as well as the magnificent scenery that encircles it. Then we will make a visit to the Regional Museum of Ancash, where we will be able to appreciate the collection of sculptures and ceramics of one of the ancient civilizations of Peru. We will have the afternoon for free activities. Overnight in Huaraz.
Day 03.- Alley of Huaylas – Llanganuco Lake
LlanganucoBreakfast. We will begin our tour through by the Santa River Valley, between the Black and White mountain range, where picturesque towns and beautiful cities as Carhuaz are settled; also we will visit Yungay that is located at 22 Kilometers from Carhuaz. Later, the town of the Invalids and Caraz and the most important snow-covered of the White Mountain Range. Finally we will ascent to the Llanganuco Lake, which is located in a narrow glacial valley and is flanked by the snow-covered Huascarán and Huandoy, and it shows a spectacular panorama with its water blue turquoise with various fauna and flora that surrounds it. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 04.- Chavín de Huántar
Chavín de HuántarBreakfast. This day we will visit the one of the ceremonials and representative center of the High Peruvian culture, with more than 3,000 years of antiquity, considered one of the first high Peruvian civilizations, Chavín de Huántar. Here we will appreciate its monumental architecture, with sunken plazas and subterranean galleries, the fine art emphasizing the Lanzon of Chavín, an impressive stone knife-like sculpture, the Estelas, with anthrop zoomorphic representations. Also the Portal of the Falcónidas with their columns and cornices and the Cabezas Clavas that surround the Great Temple. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.
Day 05.- Huaraz Out
Chan ChanBreakfast. Free day at leisure and for shopping. At an appropriate time we will go to the bus terminal to take the bus to Trujillo. (Bus departs at 21:30pm). Overnight on Board.
Day 06.- Trujillo in – City Tour
Trujillo is a very welcoming city, one of the economic and cultural centers of the north area of Perú. This land is called, The Land of The Eternal Spring and it is where the Marinera was born. It is the land of the Peruvian Paso Horse. After Breakfast, we will begin the city tour in the Main Square, then we will visit the Casa Colange, Casa Orbegozo, Casa of the Emancipation, the Iturregui Palace and then we will proceed to visit the archeology museum. Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 07.- Sun and the Moon Temple – Chan Chan – Huanchaco
Moon TempleBreakfast. In the morning we will carry out a guided visit to the temples of the sun and the moon that belongs to the Mochica Civilization. We will appreciate a sample of the mural image paintings in high relief, ceremonial squares elegantly decorated. We will visit Chan chan until 14:00hrs, the pre-Colombian tomb Arco Iris or Dragon, the Museum of Chan Chan and the Palace Tshudi, then we will visit Huanchaco beach where we will be able to appreciate the famous Caballitos de totora (Boats of Totora). Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 08.- Trujillo Out / Chiclayo In
Early in the morning we will have breakfast and then we will take the bus to go to Chiclayo. Upon arrival in Chiclayo, welcome and reception. Transfer to the Royal Tombs Museumchosen hotel. We will begin our tour in the main streets of the city and we will see the main square, The Cathedral, The small square Elías Aguirre, The Walk of the Muses, and finally we will visit the Herbalist market. Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 09.- Túcume and Museum / Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum
Breakfast. Then we will visit the archaeological area of Túcume, zone where important discoveries have been carried out. And we will visit its museum in place, which architecture was inspired by the traditional Lambayeque chapels. Then we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where we will be able to Tucume Archaeological Complexappreciate all the funeral trousseau of the Mister of Sipán, its scepter of command, earflaps, necklaces, pectoral, protective coxals, its semi-circulate crown and we will be able to know a little more of the Mochica Civilization. At an appropriate time transfer to the station to take the bus to Cajamarca. (Bus departs at 10:45pm).
Day 10.- Cajamarca In / City Tour / Otuzco Windows
Reception and transfer to the hotel. We have a little time to rest and get ready for the day. Beginning our tour we will visit important places like: The Main Square, The San Francisco Church, The Cathedral that is characterized for its impressive facade carved in volcanic rock, then we will visit Belen, an old hospital from the virreynal times. Later we will go to the Archaeological, Santa Apolonia Hillethnographic and religious Museum. We will visit then the Rescue Rooms that were filled two of them with silver and one with gold by the Inca Atahualpa. Finally, we will go to the hill of Saint Apolonia, splendid natural lookout from where the city and valley can be appreciated. We will see The Chair of the Inca.
Then we will visit the Farm Los Alpes, Three Mills, where we will be able to find the best “Peruvian Paso” horses and the best cattle in production of drinking milk. In our way we will pass by the district of Yura, Pampa Cañahua, where the vicunas can be appreciated. We will pass through the old crater of Chucure volcano. Later, we will arrive at Patapampa, the highest point pf the tour (4 800masl). From this point, the maximum number of volcanoes that exist together in the department of Arequipa can be appreciated. We will arrive at the town of Chivay and we will settle ourselves in the hotel. Soon we will have a time to have lunch. Day 04.- Chivay – Cross of the Condor - Arequipa
The Condor FlightBreakfast. This day we will visit the Cross of the Condor, a place that has an impressive View of the valley and from there we will be able to appreciate the flight of the condor and the depth of the canyon (3 400meters of depth). At Return, we will be able to visit the town of Pinchillo, the Hanging PRE-Inca tombs, Litomoquetas, the town of Maca, Achola, the town of Yanque and Chivay. Lunch in restaurant of Chivay (lunch on behalf of passenger). Return to the city of Arequipa. Overnight.
Day 05- Arequipa Out – Cusco in – City Tour
Breakfast. Early in the morning transfer to the Airport to fly to Cusco. Upon Cusco Main Squarearrival, reception, welcome and transfer to the chosen hotel. Rest in the morning to acclimatize to the high altitude. At 13:30 we will start the City Tour visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue with a visit to the museum of the Cathedral, where we will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks. Later we will visit the archaeological sites bordering the city of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 06.- Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to the town of Pisaq (located at 50 Chinchero - Cuscominutes from Cusco), where we will appreciate the archaeological complex (20 minutes from town). Also, we will have the chance to visit the Typical Artisan Market and the Main Square. We continue by one side of the Vilcanota river, until arriving to Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite lunch buffet. After that, we will discover Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. This is so because their streets maintain the same outline to the one of the time of the Incas. We will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there. In our way back to Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero, a small colonial Inca town, where we will appreciate its main square and church. We will return back to Cusco. Overnight.
Day 07.- Machu Picchu – Cusco
Machu PicchuBreakfast. Very early in the morning (05: 30 hrs.) a car will pick us up from the chosen hotel and transfer us to the train station. The train leaves at 6am and arrives to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) station at 10:00am. Immediately we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu. We will continue with a guided visit in this magical place for about 2 hours, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, among others. At the end, we will have a free time until 12:00 hrs, where the bus will pick us up and take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train to return back to Cusco leaves at 4pm arriving to its destination at 8pm approximately. Overnight.
Day 08.- City Tour Colonial Lima – Lima out
Lima's CathedralBreakfast, Early in the morning transfer to the airport to fly to Lima. We will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and colonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. At an appropriate tour transfer to the airport to return to the origin city.

The banks and stores attention is from 09:00am to 5:00 or 6:00pm during weekdays. And from 9:00am till midday on Saturdays.
Currency
The official currency of Peru is the Nuevo Sol (S/.) and each Sol is divided in 100 cents, it circulates in currencies of 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, 1, 2 and 5 Nuevos Soles and in bills of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Nuevos soles.
In relation to a foreign currency, the most accepted currency is the dollar, also in latest years the Euro can be easily exchange in the majority of exchange bureau. Another currency will be difficult to change outside Lima.
Credit cards
The accepted credit cards in Peru are Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club and American Express. You can get the cash from Banks or from ATMS. The negative part to use a debit or credit card is that the establishments can load a 8% or a 10% to the final account.
Traveller's Checks
The traveler's checks are possible to be used in Peru but are difficult to change. The change of such can be made in Banks, when making this operation considers a loss from 2% to 5%. It is good taking them because of security reasons but always take cash.
The Water and Beverages
In the case of the Water in Peru it is necessary to have certain considerations, like not drinking water not boiled since many diseases can be transmitted through water specially the diarrhea. keep in mind to drink only mineral water which is easy to obtain at S/.1.00.
Food
In the case of the meals avoid eating on the street vendors. These Street Vendors are called "Ambulantes" and do not consume their products even if you are very hungry.

During the trip we will be able to see amazing landscapes and visit interesting archaeological sites like Raqchi, Andahuaylillas and Pukara, we will enjoy a buffet lunch and we will enjoy drinks during all our way. Arrival at Puno. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight.
Day 06.- Taquile and Uros Islands
Breakfast. In the morning (7: 30hrs.) we will go to the port of Puno, where we will begin our lacustrine adventure in very quick boats. We will arrive quickly to the floating Island of the Uros, which are a set of floating islands made of Uros Islandtotora, inhabited by the Uros, people who descend from one of the oldest civilizations of America. We will be able to appreciate its peculiar lifestyle and its creations, like the elaboration of dissected animal and tweeds. We will have the afternoon free for personal activities. Next we will visit Taquile Island. Inside, we will visit the town and we will have a time for exploration and shopping inside the community. We will return in the evening to Puno. Overnight.
Day 07.- Chullpas of Sillustani
Breakfast. Free morning at leisure. In the afternoon, we will start visiting the Chulpas of Sillustani. In our way we will have the opportunity to visit Sillustani ChulpasWaru-waru, which is an interesting agricultural PRE-Inca zone, where we will have a guided visit. We will also visit the houses of the inhabitants of the area to know more about its culture and its lifestyle. Later we will arrive to Sillustani, which is formed by gigantic cylinders, known as Chulpas, which are necropolis of great dignitaries of the Tiahuanaco civilization. This civilization lived in the plateau three thousand years ago. Next we will make a visit to the Umayo Lagoon. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 08.- Puno out – Lima in
Breakfast. Free morning. At an appropriate time transfer to the Juliaca Airport to board the flight to Lima. In Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 05.- Cusco out – Cloud Forest
Manu RiverWe leave Cusco early in the morning in our specialized overland vehicles. At approximately mid-morning we visit the interesting tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as “Chullpas”. We continue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. There, a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock, Spectacled Bear, Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2,000 and 3,500masl. and at least 50% of the plant specimens found here are endemic to this region. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 06.- Cloud Forest – Atalaya
OtorongoToday we will wake up very early to observe the Cock of the Rock (Rupicola peruviana), Peru’s national bird from a platform. The male birds are a vibrant reddish orange, and as many as several dozen come together for an exhibition of a mating ritual dance in a place called Lek. The males display their crest, showing off and posturing for the females. The females, fewer in number, watch the show to select the most suitable males. After breakfast we continue in our overland transport down the narrow road between waterfalls and canyons toward the town of Pilcopata and then to Atalaya Port. There we will board our covered, outboard motor boat and head down the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 15 minutes toward the next lodge (a comfortable 12 room lodge) where we will hike through the interesting trail system that this transitional area between high and low jungle offers. Overnight in the lodge.
Day 07.- Atalaya – Canopy Tours
Canopy in ManuThe Lodge is located in a transition zone between high and low jungle (600masl to 1,150masl, 1,200 to 3,450 feet) encompassing different habitats. This altitude range explains the high diversity of wildlife found around this lodge, so immediately after breakfast, we will start a short ride by boat for 5 minutes to visit a small lake near to the Alto Madre de Dios River. There we are going to have the chance to see the Hoatzin, a primitive bird, white caimans, many species of birds, insects, etc. then we will walk for 30 minutes. During the hike our guide will talk about insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. until we reach the Machuwasi Lagoon were we will install the telescope to observe the beautiful and interesting birds. Later, we will have the opportunity to make the Canopy Tour. It consists on having our guests traverse from tree to tree and platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal traverse cables zip lines, as they sail through the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy, and over the trails far below. Expert guides assist you in this exciting journey through the different layers of the virgin rain forests and explain what’s going on around you from the time you leave the ground until you rappel back down to the forest floor. Overnight.
Day 08.- Macaw clay lick – Atalaya – Cusco
Macaw Collpa in ManuAfter having breakfast, we will board our boat to sail for 10 minutes to go to the Collpa, an argillaceous wall in one side of the river where the different specimens of parrots like the dark-brown blue, parrot white eye head and the Macaw Maracano, among others, go there each morning to extract and to lick clay pieces that contain necessary minerals for their dietetic balance. When finalizing this daily activity, we will continue in the boat towards the Port of Atalaya, where the bus is waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco, arriving at this city at night.
Day 09.- Cusco
Breakfast. We will have the rest of the day free for personal activities and to enjoy the general tourist ticket. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 10.- City Tour Lima Colonial – Lima out
MirafloresBreakfast, Early in the morning transfer to the airport to fly to Lima. We will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and colonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. Overnight in Lima.
Day 11- Lima out

Day 01.- Lima in
Reception in the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Day 02. - Lima out – Cusco in – City Tour
Cusco Main SquareBreakfast. Early in the morning transfer to the airport to fly to Cusco. Upon arrival, reception, welcome and transfer to the chosen hotel. Rest in the morning to acclimatize to the high altitude. At 13:30 we will start the City Tour visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue with a visit to the museum of the Cathedral, where we will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks. Later we will visit the archaeological sites bordering the city of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 03.- Sacred Valley of the Incas
Chinchero - CuscoBreakfast. In the morning we will go to the town of Pisaq (located at 50 minutes from Cusco), where we will appreciate the archaeological complex (20 minutes from town). Also, we will have the chance to visit the Typical Artisan Market and the Main Square. We continue by one side of the Vilcanota river, until arriving to Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite lunch buffet. After that, we will discover Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. This is so because their streets maintain the same outline to the one of the time of the Incas. We will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there. In our way back to Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero, a small colonial Inca town, where we will appreciate its main square and church. We will return back to Cusco. Overnight.
Day 04.- Machu Picchu – Cusco
Machu Picchu: Side ViewBreakfast. Very early in the morning (05: 30 hrs.) a car will pick us up from the chosen hotel and transfer us to the train station. The train leaves at 6am and arrives to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) station at 10:00am. Immediately we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu. We will continue with a guided visit in this magical place for about 2 hours, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, among others. At the end, we will have a free time until 12:00 hrs, where the bus will pick us up and take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train to return back to Cusco leaves at 4pm arriving to its destination at 8pm approximately. Overnight.
Day 05.- Monkey Island
Tambopata River at sunsetBreakfast. Pick up from hotel to be transferred to the airport to fly to Puerto Madonado. Arrival followed by transfer to the river dock where we will board our boat and set forth upon an unforgettable journey down the Madre de Dios river. Along the way, we can observe the alligators (caimans), turtles (charapas) and other fauna, as well as herons and several varieties of bird species. Upon arrival at the lodge, and enjoying an exquisite –and typical- welcome drink, you will settle in our comfortable bungalows. Lunch ensues shortly. Afterwards, in the company and assistance of our specialized guide, we will visit the Monkey Island, located only five minutes from the lodge. In the middle of the Madre de Dios river, the Monkey Island hosts an great variety of specimens of monkeys: these range from the noisy ones such as the Maquisapas (Spider Monkey), the happy Achuñi (Nasua nasua), the very impressive Fraile (Squirrel Monkey) to the very little and funny Leoncito “little lion”. The rip to the island affords very beautiful sightseeing of the local landscape as well as the flora and fauna that they host. And to top it all off, there is that breathtaking and sublime jungle sunset. Then we will return to the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight.
Day 06.- Lost Lake
Owl Butterfly in TambopataAfter breakfast we set forth on an adventure thought the virgin jungle led by our professional local guide: today’s hike will take us to the Lost Lake. This site effectively constitutes a unique protected ecosystem, refuge and feeding ground for a great diversity of jungle fauna including Nutria and Otters (Lutra incarum), Cayman (New world Crocodile), Turtles (Charapa), Sachavacas (Amazonian Tapir) the majestic Jaguar, or Otorongo (Panther onca), many birds of striking plumage as well as a big variety of specimens of fish. This area is unique and particularly different to the Reserve area near to the lodge, by virtue of having remained altogether unaltered, and conveniently surrounded by large swampo and wetlands. One of the highlights of today’s tour is certainly the ascent to the Amazonian Overlook, built on top of the greatest trees in the Amazonian forest: the Shihuahuaco. From this place, amazing scenery of the magical forest can be admired. This is complemented by a pleasant canoe tour around the lake, after which we return to the lodge to eat a well deserved lunch. In the course of the afternoon, we will visit the botanical gardens. The eco-swimming pool is available to guests and is free of any additional charge. Return to lodge to have a delicious dinner.
Day 07.- Gamitana or Briolo River
Macaws in TambopataAfter breakfast, at a previously indicated time, we set off on yet another excursion through the magic jungle. First we navigate along the Madre de Dios River until reaching the trailhead where our hike to the Gamitana/Briolo Rivers begins. Both of these rivers originate in the heart of the virgin jungle with their numerous meanders and large winding channels with large navigable waterways. We return by canoe, closely observing along the way the fauna such as, turtles, caimans, butterflies and a great variety of insects, eventually arriving to the lodge, where we will have dinner. Overnight.
Day 08.- Apu Victor Lake
The start of the day is heralded by the beautiful signing of birds. After this welcome from Mother Nature, we will have breakfast and set off our hike through Turttle in Tambopatathe deep forest, following paths and trails with bridges surmounting deep ravines. Along the way we will have the chance to observe the Cave of the Caymans. Continuing our walk, we will eventually arrive at the majestic setting of Apu Victor Lake, bode of beautiful crystalline water, surrounded by extensive swamps and gigantic trees. After a while we shall climb to the Amazon Lookout, an overlook site eminently suited for the purpose of bird watching. From this point we can enjoy a panoramic view of the lake as well as observe the numerous parrots, macaws, Toucans, Hornbill, Hoatzin and Egrets, as well as other animal specimens that surround the area, such as Caymans, turtles and –if we are lucky enough- the giant otter. After several hours, we will return to the lodge and have lunch. Overnight.
Day 09- Transfer out – Cusco in
Andahuaylillas ChurchBreakfast. At an appropriate hour transfer to the airport of Puerto Maldonado to return to the city of Cusco. In Cusco, rest of the day for free activities. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 10.- Cusco – Raqchi – Andahuaylillas – Pukara – Puno
Breakfast. Early in the morning we will be translated to the tourist bus station, to start our trio to Puno. During the trip we will be able to see amazing landscapes and visit interesting archaeological sites like Raqchi, Andahuaylillas and Pukara, we will enjoy a buffet lunch and we will enjoy drinks during all our way. Arrival at Puno. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Puno.
Day 11.- Taquile and Uros Islands
Uros IslandBreakfast. In the morning (7: 30hrs.) we will go to the port of Puno, where we will begin our lacustrine adventure in very quick boats. We will arrive quickly to the floating Island of the Uros, which are a set of floating islands made of totora, inhabited by the Uros, people who descend from one of the oldest civilizations of America. We will be able to appreciate its peculiar lifestyle and its creations, like the elaboration of dissected animal and tweeds. We will have the afternoon free for personal activities. Next we will visit Taquile Island. Inside, we will visit the town and we will have a time for exploration and shopping inside the community. We will return in the evening to Puno. Overnight.
Day 12.- Puno out – Lima in
Breakfast. Free morning. At an appropriate time transfer to the Juliaca Airport to board the flight to Lima. In Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Breakfast. Free morning at leisure. At 4:45pm we will pick you up in the hotel lobby and transferred to the bus station to board the bus that will take us to Arequipa. Overnight on board.
Day 03.- Arequipa in – City Tour
Monasterio de Santa CatalinaReception and transfer to the hotel. After a little time to rest, we will initiate the tour visiting the White city of Arequipa. We will visit the Main Square, which presents a beautiful bronze fountain of three plates crowned with the figure of a soldier of XVI century. Here we will be able to appreciate The Church of the Company of Jesus Christ. Next we will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina who was a center of absolute retreat, which stayed closed to the public by centuries, today is harmoniously recovered and opened. It allows us to appreciate how the city of Arequipa was in the XVII century. We will see its streets, gardens, walls of sillar, etc. Immediately we will be transferred to the beautiful and green countryside of the Yanahuara Viewpoint, where we will have a privileged view of the city and Volcanoes like the Misti, Pichupichu and Chachani. Return to the Hotel. Overnight in Arequipa.
Day 04.- Arequipa – Chivay
Chivay ChurchBreakfast. Early in the morning we will start our trip to the Colca Valley located in the Province of Caylloma at 3 600masl. In our way we will pass by the district of Yura, Pampa Cañahua, where the vicunas can be appreciated. We will pass through the old crater of Chucure volcano. Later, we will arrive at Patapampa, the highest point pf the tour (4 800masl). From this point, the maximum number of volcanoes that exist together in the department of Arequipa can be appreciated. We will arrive at the town of Chivay and we will settle ourselves in the hotel. Soon we will have a time to have lunch. Also we will have the chance to visit the thermal baths of La Calera (optional). Overnight in Chivay.
Day 05.- Chivay – Cross of the Condor - Arequipa
The Condor FlightBreakfast. This day we will visit the Cross of the Condor, a place that has an impressive View of the valley and from there we will be able to appreciate the flight of the condor and the depth of the canyon (3 400meters of depth). At Return, we will be able to visit the town of Pinchillo, the Hanging PRE-Inca tombs, Litomoquetas, the town of Maca, Achola, the town of Yanque and Chivay. Lunch in restaurant of Chivay (lunch on behalf of passenger). Return to the city of Arequipa. Overnight in Arequipa.

After that, we will discover Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. This is so because their streets maintain the same outline to the one of the time of the Incas. We will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there. In our way back to Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero, a small colonial Inca town, where we will appreciate its main square and church. We will return back to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 08.- Machu Picchu – Cusco
Machu Picchu: Side ViewBreakfast. Very early in the morning (05: 30 hrs.) a car will pick us up from the chosen hotel and transfer us to the train station. The train leaves at 6am and arrives to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) station at 10:00am. Immediately we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu. We will continue with a guided visit in this magical place for about 2 hours, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, among others. At the end, we will have a free time until 12:00 hrs, where the bus will pick us up and take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train to return back to Cusco leaves at 4pm arriving to its destination at 8pm approximately. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 09.- Cusco out – Cloud Forest
Manu RiverWe leave Cusco early in the morning in our specialized overland vehicles. At approximately mid-morning we visit the interesting tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as “Chullpas”. We continue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. There, a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock, Spectacled Bear, Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2,000 and 3,500masl. and at least 50% of the plant specimens found here are endemic to this region. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 10.- Cloud Forest – Atalaya – Canopy Tour
OtorongoToday we will wake up very early to observe the Cock of the Rock (Rupicola peruviana), Peru’s national bird from a platform. The male birds are a vibrant reddish orange, and as many as several dozen come together for an exhibition of a mating ritual dance in a place called Lek. The males display their crest, showing off and posturing for the females. The females, fewer in number, watch the show to select the most suitable males. After breakfast we continue in our overland transport down the narrow road between waterfalls and canyons toward the town of Pilcopata town. A 30 minutes bus ride to the port of Atalaya where we will board our covered outboard motor boat and head down to the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 30 minutes towards our Lodge where we will spend the next one night. The Lodge is located in a transition zone between high and low jungle (600masl to 1,150masl, 1,200 to 3,450 feet) encompassing different habitats. Giant Otter in ManuThis altitude range explains the high diversity of wildlife found around this lodge, so immediately after breakfast, we will start a short ride by boat for 5 minutes to visit a small lake near to the Alto Madre de Dios River. There we are going to have the chance to see the Hoatzin, a primitive bird, white caimans, many species of birds, insects, etc. then we will walk for 30 minutes. During the hike our guide will talk about insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. until we reach the Machuwasi Lagoon were we will install the telescope to observe the beautiful and interesting birds. Later, we will have the opportunity to make the Canopy Tour. It consists on having our guests traverse from tree to tree and platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal traverse cables zip lines, as they sail through the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy, and over the trails far below. Expert guides assist you in this exciting journey through the different layers of the virgin rain forests and explain what’s going on around you from the time you leave the ground until you rappel back down to the forest floor. Day 11.- Macaw clay lick – Atalaya – Cusco
Macaw Collpa in ManuAfter having breakfast, we will board our boat to sail for 10 minutes to go to the Collpa, an argillaceous wall in one side of the river where the different specimens of parrots like the dark-brown blue, parrot white eye head and the Macaw Maracano, among others, go there each morning to extract and to lick clay pieces that contain necessary minerals for their dietetic balance. When finalizing this daily activity, we will continue in the boat towards the Port of Atalaya, where the bus is waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco, arriving at this city at night. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 12.- Cusco – Raqchi – Andahuaylillas – Pukara – Puno
Breakfast. Early in the morning we will be translated to the tourist bus Andahuaylillas Churchstation, to start our trio to Puno. During the trip we will be able to see amazing landscapes and visit interesting archaeological sites like Raqchi, Andahuaylillas and Pukara, we will enjoy a buffet lunch and we will enjoy drinks during all our way. Arrival at Puno. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Puno.
Day 13.- Taquile and Uros Islands
Breakfast. In the morning (7: 30hrs.) we will go to the port of Puno, where we will begin our lacustrine adventure in very quick boats. We will arrive quickly to the floating Island of the Uros, which are a set of floating islands made of totora, inhabited by the Uros, people who descend from one of the oldest civilizations of America. We will be able to appreciate its peculiar lifestyle Uros Islandand its creations, like the elaboration of dissected animal and tweeds. We will have the afternoon free for personal activities. Next we will visit Taquile Island. Inside, we will visit the town and we will have a time for exploration and shopping inside the community. We will return in the evening to Puno. Overnight in Puno.
Day 14.- Puno out – Lima in
Breakfast. Free morning. At an appropriate time transfer to the Juliaca Airport to board the flight to Lima. In Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Day 15.- City Tour Lima Colonial – Lima out
MirafloresBreakfast, We will begin the tour visiting the Huaca Pucllana, (Panoramic View, we will not enter). Then, we walk around the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, The Government Palace, the Lima’s cathedral, The Archbishop Palace, The City Hall, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank and Main streets and colonial houses with balconies in Mudejar style. After this, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, the Catacombs (underground crypts of the colonial era). Continue in the new financial center of the city, El Olivar San Isidro, Central Miraflores Park, The Park of Love and Larco Mar. Overnight in Lima.
Day 16.- Lima out

When the Tour Package is confirmed, you will be requested to Pay the 50% of the total amount. This amount must be paid through our Online Payment Gateway where we accept Visa and Master Card (It does NOT include the 6% charge for Credit Card payment). Once the payment is approved SUMAQ PERU TRAVEL S.A.C. will proceed to block the spaces for you and in this way the Tour Package will be confirmed.
The payment instructions will be given by SUMAQ PERU TRAVEL S.A.C. to each client separately for security reasons.
After the payment is done, The Client will received an Invoice for the Tour Package.
The rest 50% must be paid after the arrival of the client.

The official time in Peru is located five hourse after the GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and it is similar to the EST (Eastern Standard Time) from the United States. Peru does not change the official time during the year, thus there is not summer or winter time, instead the time is maintain equal during all the year. Also it does not vary inside of the country.

Working Hours
The banks and stores attention is from 09:00am to 5:00 or 6:00pm during weekdays. And from 9:00am till midday on Saturdays.
Currency
The official currency of Peru is the Nuevo Sol (S/.) and each Sol is divided in 100 cents, it circulates in currencies of 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, 1, 2 and 5 Nuevos Soles and in bills of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Nuevos soles.
In relation to a foreign currency, the most accepted currency is the dollar, also in latest years the Euro can be easily exchange in the majority of exchange bureau. Another currency will be difficult to change outside Lima.
Credit cards
The accepted credit cards in Peru are Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club and American Express. You can get the cash from Banks or from ATMS. The negative part to use a debit or credit card is that the establishments can load a 8% or a 10% to the final account.
Traveller's Checks
The traveler's checks are possible to be used in Peru but are difficult to change. The change of such can be made in Banks, when making this operation considers a loss from 2% to 5%. It is good taking them because of security reasons but always take cash.
The Water and Beverages
In the case of the Water in Peru it is necessary to have certain considerations, like not drinking water not boiled since many diseases can be transmitted through water specially the diarrhea. keep in mind to drink only mineral water which is easy to obtain at S/.1.00.
Food
In the case of the meals avoid eating on the street vendors. These Street Vendors are called "Ambulantes" and do not consume their products even if you are very hungry.
Peruvian Cuisine
The Peruvian cuisine has many varieties and diverse tastes which varies in the coast, mountain range and forest. The Ceviche is a highly recommended dish. In the case of drinks you should not forget to try our "Pisco Sour" elaborated with the ardent water of Peru "the Pisco", and also the drink of the Incas Chica of jora, chicha Morada, etc.

It is also called "Soroche". It is advisable to drink Mate de Coca.
